Vertical Margins & Fade

The top and bottom of the screen are where lines appear and disappear, and that motion can pull your eyes away from the part you’re actually reading. Vertical margins mask those edges so your attention stays in the middle.

You can set how much of the screen the margins cover, and optionally add a smooth fade instead of a hard cut — text gently dissolves in and out at the edges rather than popping. It looks nicer and it’s easier on the eyes during a long read.

Pair it with reading indicators and the active lines are the only thing your eyes have to think about.
